Baltimore Injury Cases Involving Emergency Vehicles
Baltimore is a busy city full of narrow one-way streets. It’s not uncommon for injury cases to arise when emergency vehicles collide with innocent civilians. The public servants who protect us aren’t immune to occasional carelessness.
Both the Baltimore Police and Fire Department have their own rules for emergency vehicle operation. If you are contacted by someone injured in a collision with one of these vehicles, check the rules. Failure to follow internal policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation can be considered as evidence of negligence.
Also, order a copy of the 911 tape. These are available for a fee and can reveal important information, like the absence of audible sirens.
